Children's Ballet Programmes 

The Ballet Workshop - Youth Classical Ballet Programmes. Age 3-18 

Pupils are led through our creative classical programmes with a nurturing Syllabus. 

Experienced, qualified Teachers. Pupils take Exams IDTA & Shows whilst ensuring we are a Ballet focused technique led facility. 

Youth Ballet sessions in our main school of dance are taught in Combination Classes of both Ballet & Tap .

Nursery Ballet & Tap Class

Intake Age 3-5. Specially designed for students to find balance & confidence, learning movement through imaginative stories, musical song & beautiful exercises. We utilise many beautiful props within lesson to engage pupils movement including: Dress up, work with feathers, silks, wings, wands & instruments. dynamic music compliments class class providing an enriching & stimulating environment. ​Pupils explore movement qualities, musicality & coordination, enhancing movement & mind.  Sending each pupil home happy & energised with an enjoyment for Dance.

Preparatory - Primary Ballet Grades

Age5+ Preparatory Ballet is a clear move on from our Nusery Ballet creative programmes. This is the start of the graded format sessions. The pupils will build solid foundations within their structured Ballet lesson. The class introduces set exercises & initiates combination sequences with emphasis upon musicality. The pupil's ballet vocabulary is built with enjoyment & enthusiasm. Pupils utilize props & work theme dances. 


Grades 1 - 5 Ballet Grades

Following from the junior programmes Pupils advance to through each of the grades from to intermediate & advanced level ballet classes. Our pupils take examinations to pass through the syllabus. Each level develops students technique & understanding of the ballet discipline. Dancers will work creative set exercises at the barre, centre, travel. They gain understanding of core strength with our Progressive ballet technique influence. 

All  Students develop technique, musicality & performance skills. Alongside exams, pupils work to shows, masterclass days & industry professional days. 


Intermediate & Advanced Ballet

Intermediate level dance incorporates pointe work in the exam. 

Pointe work will have been gradually introduced to the classes when the dancers are ready in technique & physique. 

The curriculum moves quickly at this level & to achieve & dance this level pupils need to have been well practice in previous grades. This class is meant for the focused and dedicated ballet dancer. Dancers at this level should be taking technique class at least 2 times a week, including stretch class, technique syllabus class or free ballet class & Pointe Technique Class.
